Welcome to Hudson House Bed and Breakfast, a charming and historically rich home nestled in Wheatland, Wyoming. This unique property dates back to the early 1900s and was originally the McPherson residence. In the years between 1910 and 1913, J. A. W. Hudson, a passionate hunter and trapper with origins in Bohemia (now the Czech Republic), purchased the property and added a grand expansion to the house.
Hudson’s adventurous life as a frontier explorer is documented in his book, My Life on the Frontier, and the stories of his rugged past are woven into the very walls of this home. Over the years, the property has passed through various hands, and in 2009, Jeff and Jeanette Wallace became the proud owners. After years of thoughtful renovation and expansion, the Wallaces opened the doors of Hudson House as a bed and breakfast in July 2024, eager to share this remarkable place with travelers.
At Hudson House, we invite you to step into a piece of history while enjoying the comfort and hospitality of our beautifully remodeled home. Whether you're passing through Wheatland or staying a while, it’s our joy and pleasure to welcome you to this extraordinary and historic retreat.
